Polish government aid to Oświęcim will amount to almost 1,400,000 złoty this year. Representatives of the government, the provincial governor, the provincial marshal, and local government officials signed an agreement for the realization of Stage II of the Oświecim Government Strategic Program yesterday.

A temporary exhibition of drawings by former Auschwitz Concentration Camp prisoner Marian Kołodziej has opened in Block no. 12 at the site of the Auschwitz I Main Camp.

A new memorial tablet in the traditional language of this group of victims was unveiled on the sixtieth anniversary of the Nazi deportation of the first group of Greek Jews for extermination in Auschwitz.
