“The SS Garrison of Auschwitz” and “Women working for the SS” are new online lessons prepared by the International Center for Education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust (ICEAH). They tell the history of the German Nazi camp in the context of perpetrators.

563,000 visitors to the Museum in 2021

A little over 563,000 people visited the Memorial in 2021. It is a slight increase compared to the previous year; however, it is worth remembering that in the period before the pandemic, over two million people visited the Museum every year.

The project is run jointly by the International Centre for Education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust at the Auschwitz Museum, the Yad Vashem Institute and the Ghetto Fighters' House in Israel.
