Online educational session dedicated to Fr Maximilian Kolbe - 28 May

"Testimony" is the title of an educational session devoted to Franciscan friar Maximilian Kolbe who was imprisoned and murdered 80 years ago in the German Nazi Auschwitz concentration and extermination camp. The event will take place on 28 May 2021 on zoom platform. The session will be translated simultaneously into English.

15. session of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation Council

The 15th session of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Foundation Council was held in Warsaw on 24 March. The main task of the Foundation is to finance the conservation of the authentic remains of the former German Nazi concentration and extermination camp Auschwitz-Birkenau.

Thanks to the promise of the Polish Ministry of Culture, National Heritage, and Sport of almost 21,5 million zlotys it will be possible to erect the hostel together with its necessary infrastructure near the new Auschwitz Memorial Visitor Services Center, currently under construction.
