Stefan Stapelberg, head of the Rent-a-Guru company in Heidelberg, Germany, has donated a copy of the commercial version of HTTP-Analyze software to the Museum.

Polish Educators at Yad Vashem

Another course in the series organized by the Yad Vashem Memorial Institute in cooperation with the Museum was held in Israel from November 16 to 30. The 34 participants from Poland included two Museum staff members. Most of the group were history teachers. There were also Polish teachers, priests, and several guides from the Auschwitz Birkenau Memorial.

A Conference on the City's Problems "This city is beginning to lose its status. It is not developing. The government and parliament could take concrete steps for the residents of Oswiecim," said Polish Senate Deputy Speaker Marcin Tyrna at a conference on the problems created for the city of Oswiecim by the proximity of the site of the German Auschwitz-Birkenau Concentration Camp.

Damages Awarded to the Maja Corporation

After a court case that went on for four years in the Bielsko regional court, the Maja Corporation has been awarded damages from the Polish government for the suspension in 1996 of construction of the so-called "supermarket." The verdict can be appealed before a court in Katowice.
