20 educators, guides and staff from several institutions in Israel dealing with the history of the Holocaust participated in a 12-day seminar in Poland on "Auschwitz in the collective consciousness in Poland and abroad".
On July 7th, the national Auschwitz-Birkenau Institute in Spain opened a new branch in Girona, a city in the Autonomous Community of Catalonia. This branch will support the activities carried out by the Auschwitz Museum Memorial Diplomacy in Spain.
The "If not for those ten..." awards were presented at the international educational conference titled "Tools from the «here and now» in teaching about the «then» - new technologies in education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust". They are presented to volunteers and representatives of institutions that support volunteering at the Memorial.
New technologies in education about the history of Auschwitz and the Holocaust was the subject of an international conference held on June 27-29 at the Auschwitz Memorial.
