MEMORIAL AND MUSEUM AUSCHWITZ-BIRKENAU FORMER GERMAN NAZI
CONCENTRATION AND EXTERMINATION CAMP

Middle

For middle school pupils interested in a visit to the Auschwitz Memorial Site a special tour programme was devised, adapted to their emotional level. In addition, students can take advantage of a variety of educational forms prepared by ICEAH, such as one-or two-day Study visits with educational activities - workshopsmultimedia presentations or video lectures, most of which are available in Polish, English, German and French.

In the case of middle school pupils, a substantive and emotional preparation is crucial prior to the visit to the Memorial Site. In this regard, it may be helpful to use preparatory lessons for a visit to the premises of the former German Nazi concentration and extermination camp, which will help in finding answers to important questions that arise. For those who wish to broaden their knowledge on the history of Auschwitz, we have prepared a set of online lessons.

The Auschwitz Museum is also a place where pupils can get involved in Voluntary activity, thereby gaining experience in the realization of educational, restoration or publications projects.
