The grand opening of the Oswiecim synagogue. Chevra Lomdei Mishnayot synagogue rededicated

The grand opening of the Oswiecim synagogue, which belonged to the Chevra Lomdei Mishnayot before the war, was held on September 12.

Three years ago, the synagogue came into the possession of the Bielsko-Biala Jewish Community. Funds for the renovation were provided by the Auschwitz Jewish Center Fundation, which was set up by the retired New York businessman Fred Schwartz.

An Education Center is located next door. Oswiecim city officials took part in the ceremony, alongside representatives of the Polish government and Church.
