The Destruction of the Jews of Jedwabne in the Light of Press Reports. Training for Guides

The annual training program for Museum guides began in January. The aim is to enhance the quality of guide services offered by the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial.

Aside from meetings with former prisoners, this year's training also included such topics as "The Symbolism and Meaning of Auschwitz for Various Ethnic and Religious Groups" and "The Destruction of the Jews of Jedwabne in the Light of Press Reports and Discussions with Former Auschwitz Concentration Camp Prisoner Jerzy Laudanski."
Guides also visited the Jewish Education Center and synagogue in Oswiecim.
