AUSCHWITZ-BIRKENAU FORMER GERMAN NAZI CONCENTRATION AND EXTERMINATION CAMP
Bielsko-Biała, October 25 (PAP). The Polish government has appropriated an additional 3.25 million zloty from its budget reserve for the Oświęcim Government Strategic Program (OGSP), Oświęcim local government spokeswoman Katarzyna Kwiecień announced on Monday.
The working group dealing with the sixtieth anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz Nazi concentration camp went into action last Tuesday. The anniversary comes next January 27.

Sept. 23, Bielsko-Biała (PAP) – The Council for the Protection of the Memory of Fighting and Martyrdom is to organize the observances of the 60th anniversary of the liberation of the German Auschwitz camp on January 27, 2005, Council General Secretary Andrzej Przewoźnik informed PAP.
A temporary exhibition on the Jehovah’s Witnesses who were victims of Nazi persecution from 1933 to 1945 opened in the Visitor Reception Building at the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum in Oświęcim on September 21, 2004.
