Meeting IV: 10-11 September 2001

Fourth assembly was devoted to current issues connected in particular with former camp of immediate extermination in Bełżec. Some points of the order of the day focused on settling the rules of cooperation between International Auschwitz Council and International Group of Experts in Auschwitz Governmental Strategic Program run by Prof. Andrzej Tomaszewski.

Additionally, the reports on committees' activity, plans of project "Auschwitz Week" in Paris and others were presented. The Council, in connection with the Us Senate and Congress pronouncements, voted for resolution on the water-colors made by Dina Gottlieb-Babbit, former prisoner in Auschwitz.
