Meeting XXXVII: 12-13 June 2023

For the first time in history, the International Auschwitz Council under the Polish Prime Minister was held in Gdańsk. Its 37th session, organized at the city’s Museum of the Second World War, was chaired by Prof. Grzegorz Berendt. IAC members also visited the Stutthof Museum in Sztutowo.

Meeting XXXVI: 23-24 November 2022

The 36th session of the International Auschwitz Council under the Polish Prime Minister was held at the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum in Oświęcim on 23 and 24 November 2022 at the headquarters of the International Centre for Education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust. The session was chaired by Prof. Grzegorz Berendt.

Meeting XXXV: 26 July 2022

The inaugural session of the fourth term of office of the International Auschwitz Council was held on July 26th at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister in Warsaw. Nominations were handed over to its members by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Culture and National Heritage Prof. Dr. hab. Piotr Gliński, as well as Deputy Minister of Culture and National Heritage Jarosław Sellin.

Meeting XXXIV: 7-8 May 2018

The summary of the 2012-2018 term of office of the International Auschwitz Council and the report on the work of the Auschwitz Museum in recent years, were some of the topics of the 34th session of the International Auschwitz Council, which was held in Auschwitz, 7 and 8 May 2018, chaired by Prof. Barbara Engelking. The meeting was attended by the deputy minister of culture and national heritage, Jarosław Sellin, who read a letter from Deputy Prime Minister Prof. Piotr Gliński addressed to members of the IAC.

Meeting XXXIII: 13 November 2017

The 33rd session of the International Auschwitz Council presided over by Prof. Barbara Engelking, was held on 13 November 2017 at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister in Warsaw. The session was attended by the Deputy Minister of Culture and National Heritage Jarosław Sellin, among others.

On 2 and 3 July 2017, the 32nd session of the International Auschwitz Council under the Prime Minister of Poland was held at the Centre for Dialogue and Prayer in Oświęcim. The session was presided over by Prof. Barbara Engelking.
