The 40th session of the International Auschwitz Council was held at the POLIN Museum of the History of Polish Jews on 29 October. It was chaired by Prof. Dariusz Stola.
The 39th session of the International Auschwitz Council took place at the State Museum at Majdanek in Lublin on 22 May 2024. The session was chaired by Dani Dayan.
The 38th session of the International Auschwitz Council convened at the Polish History Museum in Warsaw on 4 December. Dr. Grzegorz Berendt presided over the session. Jarosław Sellin, the Deputy Minister of Culture and National Heritage of Poland, was also in attendance.
For the first time in history, the International Auschwitz Council under the Polish Prime Minister was held in Gdańsk. Its 37th session, organized at the city’s Museum of the Second World War, was chaired by Prof. Grzegorz Berendt. IAC members also visited the Stutthof Museum in Sztutowo.
The 36th session of the International Auschwitz Council under the Polish Prime Minister was held at the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum in Oświęcim on 23 and 24 November 2022 at the headquarters of the International Centre for Education about Auschwitz and the Holocaust. The session was chaired by Prof. Grzegorz Berendt.
