The Collection of The Arolsen Archives

It is a collection of over 120 000 documents gained in the name of a project “Identity restoration of deportees prisoners of KL Auschwitz based on archival data of PMA-B in Oświęcim and ITS in Bad Arolsen.”  The project had been realizing in 2018-2020 and let expand the collections of the Archives, adding plenty of invaluable documents being the addendum of last names, personal data, camp numbers, the circumstances of an arrest, the story of an arrest, dates and causes of death. The Collection contains documents such as Häftlingspersonalbogen, Häftlings-Personal-Karten, Effektenverzeichnis, Totenmeldungs, Ärztliche Bescheinigung, Sektionsberivcht. The data from the documents is being indexed systematically and added to the data available on the Museum`s website
