"The high groundwater level made it impossible to burn the corpses"

"The crematorium at Auschwitz I camp was used to burn the bodies of prisoners who died a natural death"

"Zyklon B was used exclusively for disinfection"

The camp had an extensive system of drainage ditches, some 15 kilometers long and more than 2 meters deep, which regulated the water level. This is confirmed by archival photos, technical documents, as well as witness accounts and photographs taken by prisoners and the Allied air force in 1944, showing active cremation pits and the smoke rising from them.

As early as September 1941, the morgue next to the crematorium was adapted into a gas chamber, where hundreds of Soviet POWs and prisoners were murdered using Zyklon B, as evidenced by both surviving technical documents and eyewitness accounts.

Zyklon B was used for the mass murder of people in gas chambers, as confirmed by transport documents, survivor accounts, and perpetrator testimonies. Holocaust deniers are unable to explain why, in the documentation of Zyklon B deliveries to the camp, terms such as “material for the resettlement of Jews” or “for [their] special treatment” were used.

"The rooms in the crematoria at Birkenau were used exclusively for disinfection"

"Official documentation lacks information about the extermination at Auschwitz"

"Murder was impossible because the doors to the gas chambers were wooden"

Preserved sources: SS documents, survivor and witness testimonies, as well as photographs taken by the resistance, provide unequivocal evidence that these were gas chambers where people were murdered en masse with Zyklon B.

German documents are full of euphemisms such as “Sonderbehandlung” (special treatment) or “Vergasungskeller” (gassing cellar), which, together with witness accounts and perpetrator testimonies, constitute indisputable evidence of the crime’s existence.

The gas chambers were equipped with gas-tight wooden doors made of two layers of planks reinforced with metal fittings, with an insulating layer of suprema placed in between. Felt seals were installed along the edge of the door frame to ensure airtightness.

"There was no proper ventilation in the gas chambers"

"The crematoria did not have the capacity to burn such a large number of corpses"

"The chimney at Crematorium I could not operate because it was not connected to the building"

Preserved sources confirm the existence of ventilation systems used to remove hydrogen cyanide, which allowed for the rapid airing of the chambers after the mass killing of people had been carried out.

According to documents, the capacity of the crematoria reached as many as 4,756 bodies per day, and incineration pits were also used during the height of the killings.

In Crematorium I, a system of underground flue channels was used to direct combustion gases to a chimney located next to the building.

"No extermination took place at Auschwitz as the camp had an orchestra or swimming pool"

"There were no openings in gas chambers II and III through which Zyklon B could be thrown"

"The changes of numbers of Auschwitz victims indicate of lack of reliable sources

The existing infrastructure of the concentration camp does not mean that gas chambers were not in operation nearby, where Jews were murdered immediately upon arrival and selection.

Careful examination of the crematorium ruins makes it possible to identify the placement of the Zyklon B insertion openings. This is also confirmed by detailed studies of the ceilings, which revealed the existence of such openings—recognizable, among other things, by the arrangement of the steel reinforcement.

The initial Soviet commission inflated estimate (4 million victims) was not based on research of source materials. The proper researched review was possible in later years.

"Discrepancies between transport lists and lists of registered prisoners undermine the fact of the Holocaust

"International Red Cross raised no objections after visit to camp"

The differences in the lists are due to the practice of selecting Jews upon arrival at the camp: the young and able-bodied were registered, while children, the elderly and the sick were sent immediately to the gas chambers, without registration; the absence of their names in the camp documents does not signify survival, but confirms the mass, unregistered murder.

The IRC never inspected Auschwitz II-Birkenau, where the mass murders were carried out, and its sole representative, Maurice Rossel, was not even allowed into the camp proper, basing his report only on a conversation with an SS representative, which prevented him from learning about the criminal nature of the Auschwitz complex.

The main group of victims of gas chambers at Auschwitz were Jews – those deemed unfit for work by SS doctors immediately upon deportation to the camp. However, the gas chambers were also used as a tool for killing various other groups of prisoners. In the first mass execution using Zyklon B, carried out by the SS in September 1941 and serving as a prelude to the later mass extermination of Jews, a large group of Soviet prisoners of war and Polish prisoners selected from the camp hospital were murdered. The Germans also used the gas chambers to kill sick or severely weakened prisoners selected from among all those incarcerated in the camp. It was in the gas chamber at Auschwitz II-Birkenau that over four thousand Roma – primarily women and children – were murdered during the liquidation of the so-called Zigeunerlager in August 1944.

Denial of the existence of gas chambers is a disgraceful assault on the memory of all those people: Jews, Poles, Roma, Soviet prisoners of war, and all other victims. It is also a slap in the face to those prisoners who risked their lives to document and convey the truth about German crimes, as well as to the Survivors who still bear the trauma of their personal experiences.
