The accreditation process for media covering the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz has been closed.

Each media using the broadcast signal is required to send confirmation of its use to press@auschwitz.org by January 31, 2025
Press Center
On the day of the anniversary, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 PM (CET), a Press Center will be available for accredited journalists, where they can follow the entire event. The Center will also be linked to live broadcasting positions.
At the Center, it will be possible to view the broadcast of the main commemoration event and the special anniversary TV studio which will be produced by Polish Television. Simultaneous interpretation in Polish and English will be provided. The work-spaces will have access to TV and audio signals, the Internet, and electricity.
Journalists working at Press Center (including live positioins) will not have access to the main tent. There will also be no opportunity for interviews with participants of the event.
Agency Photographers
Only accredited photojournalists from major photo agencies and personal photographers of the official state delegations will have access to the main tent.
Since the TV signal will be produced by Polish Television and will be available in the Press Center, online, and via satellite, cameramen from other stations will not have access to the main tent.
“Live” broadcasting positions
The Press Center will be connected to outdoor covered stations for “live” broadcasting with Internet and electricity access. The size of each stand is 2 meters wide and 4 meters deep. Parking for broadcast vehicles will be located about 400 meters from the “live” stands.

Due to the intensification of organizational work related to the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz, it will not be possible to make documentary films on the site of the Museum between 16 December 2024 and 16 February 2025
