BROADCAST OF THE  COMMEMORATION EVENT

The commemorations of the 78th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz will be broadcast on the Internet at the following sites:

The commemoration will be available without the need to register, log in or download any additional software.

COMMEMORATION AT THE MEMORIAL

On 27 January 2023, it will be possible to enter the Memorial and commemorate the Victims individually.

Pre-registered groups/delegations will be allowed to enter the Museum between 7:30-9:00 a.m.; 12:00-3:00 p.m. at intervals.

Please contact us by email at 78.commemoration@auschwitz.org to set the exact time of entry. At the same time, please provide all the names of people in the groups/delegations. We kindly ask you to read the rules and regulations for visiting and staying in the Museum.

PARTICIPATING IN THE COMMEMORATION

Individuals and organized groups wishing to commemorate the 78th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz will be able to enter into the public sector located by the Monument at the Auschwitz II-Birkenau site. The commemoration event will be shown on a big screen there. It can also be followed live online.  

Please leave your cars at the municipal parking lot in Brzezinka at 14 Męczeństwa Narodów street. 

All those wishing to attend are asked to contact us by email at 78.commemoration@auschwitz.org in order to receive a named entry card entitling to enter into the public sector. We kindly ask you to read the rules and regulations for visiting and staying in the Museum.

INFORMATION FOR VISITORS ON 27 JANUARY 2023

On 27 January 2023 the Auschwitz Memorial will be open to visitors with some restrictions. Please comply with the instructions of Museum security, guides and staff. The area around the Monument to the Victims, the ruins of gas chambers and crematoria IV and V and the building of the so-called "Sauna" at the Auschwitz II-Birkenau site will be closed to visitors.
