The commemorations of the 79th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz will be broadcast on the Internet at the following sites:

The commemoration will be available without the need to register, log in or download any additional software.

COMMEMORATION AT THE MEMORIAL

On January 27, 2024, it will be possible to enter the Memorial individually and commemorate the Victims during the opening hours of the Museum.

Pre-registered individuals and groups/delegations will be able to enter the Museum premises - at intervals.

Please contact us by e-mail at 79.commemoration@auschwitz.org to arrange the exact entry time.

Please contact us to provide the names and surnames of the people included in the groups/delegations in order to receive a personal Entry Card. The Entry Card will be verified together with an identity document. Please also read the regulations for visiting and staying in the Museum.

PARTICIPATING IN THE COMMEMORATION

Individuals and organized groups who want to take part in the celebration of the 79th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz will be able to enter the open sector for the public located in the immediate vicinity of the Monument at the Auschwitz II-Birkenau. It will also be possible to follow the commemoration events live on the Internet.

Please leave your cars at the municipal car park in Brzezinka, on Męczeństwa Narodów 14, which will be available until 8.00 p.m.

All those wishing to attend are asked to contact us by email at in order to receive a named entry card entitling to enter into the public sector. We kindly ask you to read the rules and regulations for visiting and staying in the Museum.

INFORMATION FOR VISITORS ON 27 JANUARY 2024

On 27 January 2024 the Auschwitz Memorial will be open to visitors with some restrictions. Please comply with the instructions of Museum security, guides and staff. The area around the Monument to the Victims, the ruins of gas chambers and crematoria IV and V and the building of the so-called "Sauna" at the Auschwitz II-Birkenau site will be closed to visitors.
