GDPR
In accordance with Article 13(1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons concerning the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) (OJ L 119, 4.05.2016, p. 1), hereinafter referred to as the "GDPR," I hereby inform you that:
1. The controller of your personal data is the Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum in Oświęcim, ul. Więźniów Oświęcimia 20, 32-600 Oświęcim, tel. +48/33/844 80 03, e-mail: sekretariat.muzeum@auschwitz.org (hereinafter referred to as the "Museum").
2. The Data Protection Officer at the Museum can be contacted via email: iod@auschwitz.org
3. The personal data of participants in the commemorations and individuals collaborating in their implementation will be processed pursuant to Article 6, Section 1, Points d) and e) of the GDPR, for the purpose of conducting the commemorations of the 81st anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz (hereinafter referred to as the "Commemorations").
4. Personal data will be transferred to authorized entities or bodies specified by law solely for the purpose of carrying out the task. Data may also be transferred to entities providing services related to the preparation of the Commemorations.
5. Personal data will be stored for the period necessary to demonstrate the rights and obligations of the controller before the competent authorities.
6. Providing the personal data referred to in Section 3 is voluntary and is required for registration of arrival and participation in the Commemorations and/or the provision of the requested service. Failure to provide data will prevent the implementation of the above activities.
7. Personal data will not be processed in an automated manner or profiled.
8. In connection with the processing of personal data, you have the following rights:
8.1. the right to access your data and receive a copy thereof, to rectify (amend) your data, to erase it, to restrict its processing, to object to its processing, and to transfer your data;
8.2. the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates the provisions of the GDPR.
