Auschwitz and Holocaust. Dilemmas and Challenges of the Polish Education

A collection of lectures presented in 2008 during a national scientific and didactic conference entitled “Auschwitz and Holocaust. Dilemmas and challenges of the Polish Education. The conference was organized by the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and Museum in cooperation with the Centre for Holocaust Studies at the Jagiellonian University. Its main objective was recapitulation of Polish scientific and didactic accomplishments in this area and discussion on the current dilemmas and challenges related to teaching about Auschwitz and the Holocaust in the future.
