How to search

It is possible to search for individuals by entering information (search terms). You can enter both first and last name. You can replace national characters (for instance: ń, ś, ć, ó, ü, ä or others) by %.

Be careful with spelling!

Many entries reflect the original spelling in the documents. When performing a search, therefore, it is necessary to use the German forms of place names and first names (for example: Krakau rather than Cracow or Kraków; Litzmannstadt rather than Łódź; Stanislaus rather than Stanisław; Johann rather than Jan, etc.).
