Transportslisten andere KL

Transport lists contain the names of prisoners of various nationalities transferred from Auschwitz-Birkenau to other concentration camps after a decision of the SS Central Office of Economics and Administration (Wirtschafts- und Verwaltungshauptamt, WVHA). These documents have been prepared by the office of Employment of prisoners Department of KL Auschwitz (Arbeitseinsatz). The lists of prisoners to be transported were approved by Political Department of KL Auschwitz, checking if there are not on a lists prisoners who were eye witnesses (prisoners employed in the gas chambers) of crimes committed in the camp by SS.
