Jolanta Kupiec. Auschwitz in Sculptures from the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and Memorial in Oświęcim

Presentation of a set of sculptures stored in the collections of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum and Memorial, established after WWII and thematically related to the Auschwitz concentration camp. Each sculpture is accompanied by information about its author and his/ her accomplishments; the entire collection is divided into several parts: the first one presents the sculptors in detail along with works of selected authors, including Mieczysław Stobierski, Anna Raynoch-Brzozowska and Bronisław Chromy; the remaining ones encompass thematically: individual sculptures, symbolism, socialist realism, portrait and amateur sculpture.
